Judge Business School Supports SMEs with New Sponsorship

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of any city. They are businesses that are made up of less than 250 employees and, in many situations, are responsible for driving innovation and competition within economic sectors. And that’s why the Cambridge Judge Business School’s Entrepreneurship Centre became a platinum sponsor of the inaugural SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards.

Launched on October 4th, the SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards offer an incredible opportunity to recognize and promote the most industrious, hard-working and enterprising SMEs in the country. With 18 different award categories, the event will endorse successful businesses and offer marketing and PR opportunities for every nominee.

As for the Judge Business School, their sponsorship is an important occasion to share the school’s vision while also supporting small- and medium-sized business growth. In particular, the school devised the “High Growth Business of the Year” award category. The award will celebrate the achievements of companies that have made a substantial contribution to the local economy through their business endeavors. The winning business will demonstrate high growth potential.

The award is open to all SME businesses who opened their doors before January 2014 or for new ventures who started after January 2014. Entrants must have fewer than 250 employees and be willing to fill out an application for the award category they’re interested in entering.
