CSULA Holds MBA Information Session

The next information session for the College of Business and Economics at the California State University, Los Angeles MBA program will be held March 26. The information session will begin at 5 p.m. and last for one hour. The event is free to attend and open to alumni, current CSULA students, and prospective members of the public.

Those interested in attending the event can complete an online registration form. During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about the MBA program and the benefits of an MBA for your career.

Anderson Hosts EMBA Info Session and App Tips Workshop

Anderson School of Management will be hosting an information session for its Executive MBA program. The information session will be followed by an application tips workshop for EMBA students. The events will be held April 4. The information session will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and the application tips workshop will begin at 9:30 a.m. Registration for both events should be completed online prior to the events.

The EMBA information session will give prospective students the opportunity to join current EMBA students and the Director of Admissions for breakfast. The event will be held at the Executive Divining Room at UCLA Anderson. Prospective students will hear more about the EMBA program, admission process and what an Executive MBA degree from Anderson can do for your career.

Cal State LA Holds MBA Information Sessions

The College of Business and Economics at the California State University, Los Angeles will be holding a few upcoming information sessions for its MBA program. The information sessions will be held Feb. 26, March 26 and April 30. All three information sessions will be held at the Student Services Center at the CSU, LA campus. During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about the MBA program at CSU, LA and how an education at CSU, LA can benefit your future.

Anderson Team Wins Energy Case Competition

The Energy Management Group at the UCLA Anderson School of Management hosted the 4th annual Challenges in Energy Case Competition. The competition was held Jan. 30 2015. The event stands among the top energy case competitions among B-schools in the country. This year, eight teams participated from six different schools. The competition focused on charging solutions for electric vehicles.

For the competition, students were assigned to create a business model for electric vehicle charging at commercial locations that would provide positive value proposition for the commercial customer, the vehicle driver and the local electric utility. The competition allowed students from the competing schools to network with each other as well as the judges who represented the industry’s top companies including SoCal Edison, SolarCity and NRG eVgo.

Cal State LA Holds MBA Information Session

The College of Business and Economics at California State University, Los Angeles will be hosting an MBA information session. The event will be held Feb. 26 at the Student Service Center at the Cal State, LA campus. The information session will begin at 5 p.m. and last for one hour. During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about the MBA program and the benefits of an MBA for your career.

Cal State L.A.’s MBA program is designed to develop general managers capable of working in an increasingly multicultural and global environment. The MBA program is a 48-credit program that offers professional preparation for management positions. The MBA is a broad, management-oriented degree that provides concentration in seven options: Accounting, Business Economics, Finance, Information Systems, International Business, Management and Marketing.

Anderson Holds FT MBA Info Session

The Office of MBA Admissions at UCLA Anderson School of Management will be hosting an information session for its Full-Time MBA program. The event will be held Jan. 21 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Anderson School of Management campus. During the event, prospective student can get more information on the program’s curriculum, the admission process and student life at Anderson.

Anderson MBA students range from 22 to 42 in age with the average age of students being 29. The average work experience of each student is five years, with 63 percent of students having between three and six years of work experience.
