Emory University Evening MBA Program Structure
The Emory University Evening MBA at the Goizueta Business School is a part-time program designed to work around students’ busy schedules. The program involves 54 course hours and is usually completed in 24-32 months. The program is also structured according to a cohort model, with students taking core courses with their cohort and electives alongside students from the full-time program. Classes are held twice a week from 6:30–9:30 p.m.
Curriculum
The Emory University Evening MBA program is made up of 54 credits, which includes 12 core courses and a choice from over 20 concentration options to focus their studies in. The core curriculum is covered during the first and second years, with courses in the same fields as the full-time program. Students start taking elective courses during the second year and also engage in an International Study Module. These structures are subject to flexibility depending on individual students’ schedules.

Full-Time MBA
The Emory University Full-Time MBA Program Structure
The Emory University full-time MBA program at the Goizueta Business School can be undertaken in either one or two years. The One-Year full-time MBA is designed for working professionals and begins in May with an intensive summer curriculum. The Two-Year full-time MBA program begins with intense study of core courses, then adds in electives and hands-on learning to, guide students in reaching their fullest potential. Students can choose from more than 20 different concentration areas to focus their study on.
Curriculum
The Emory University full-time MBA program requires about nine core courses in the first semester of the two-year MBA or the “Summer Experience” portion of the one-year MBA. These courses cover fundamentals in finance, marketing, professional communications, economics, management practice and related fields. These classes are followed in subsequent semesters by elective courses. Elective courses are chosen to fit student’s particular interests and allow them to concentrate in one of about 20 (for one-year track) or 25 (for two-year) specific paths (all fit within the primary five academic areas–accounting, finance, information systems & operations management, marketing and organization & management–that the school specializes in).
Students can pursue internships or special projects during the spring semester in sites across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Two-year full-time MBA students can take part in study abroad programs, while one-year MBA students can go shorter educational trips.

Goizueta alumni are among the top for post-graduate employment nationwide, with nearly 92 percent of students receiving job offers within three months after graduating and an average full-time base salary of $158,153. Students in the two-year MBA graduating class of 2020 largely chose consulting as their post-graduate industry, with 34 percent of students entering that field. Following consulting was both financial services and technology at 18 and 16 percent respectively, and consumer products at 5 percent. Four percent of students chose manufacturing, and 3 percent chose real estate.
Geographically, following the trend of business schools placing large numbers of graduates in the regions in which they are located, 58 percent of students took jobs in the Southeast following graduation. Fifteen percent of students went to the Northeast, and 12 percent in the West.
Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
Emory University two year full-time MBA students can expect to pay a base tuition rate of $134,200. With fees, the total cost comes to $138,797. These costs don’t include things like living expenses, textbooks and other fees. The Emory one-year MBA tuition is $100,650. With fees, the total comes to $103,971.
Financial assistance is available in the form of Federal Stafford Loans, Graduate Plus Loans, Private Loans, International Student Loans, research and assistantships, merit-based scholarships, fellowships from the Goizueta Business Fund for Excellence and fellowships at various constituent centers.
Admissions
To apply to the Emory University full-time MBA program, applicants must submit a completed application form, one official transcript from all degree-granting and non-degree-granting institutions attended, a current résumé and two letters of recommendation. The school also requires applicants to complete two short essays about their leadership experiences and goals, as well as a video essay. Applicants must also send in their GMAT or GRE scores and pay a nonrefundable $175 application fee. Non-native English speakers are required to send in TOEFL scores, although this requirement may be waived by applicants who earned their bachelor’s degree from a school where they were taught in English, and who have also worked in countries where most business is done in English. Admissions interviews are also required and can be scheduled if the student has applied before the first application deadline; otherwise, interviews are done on an invitation-only basis.

Executive MBA
Georgia State University Executive MBA Program Structure
The Georgia State University Executive MBA program at the Robinson College of Business is intended for those with greater work experience and several years spent in management-level positions. The cohort program–held at the Buckhead campus–allows students to complete their MBA in just 17 months without interrupting their career. The program begins with a full-day accounting refresher course and a three-day introduction to executive management course. Classes are held every other weekend.
Curriculum
The Georgia State University Executive MBA program begins in August and classes take place every other weekend. The core curriculum includes management seminars, enterprise courses, and a two-week, two-country international business residency at the end of the program. Students may also take optional seminars and workshops in topics related to their career paths.

The typical Georgia State University Executive MBA class is approximately 58 percent male and 42 percent female, with 25 percent of students identifying as international by citizenship. Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
The cost of tuition for the EMBA program is $76,500 for Georgia residents and $79,500 for non-residents. This includes an iPad, tuition and fees, books and materials, hotel and meals for the three-day residency at the program’s start, membership to the World Affairs Council and MIT Enterprise Forum of Atlanta, meals and parking during class, and numerous other costs.

Admissions
Applicants to the Georgia State University Executive MBA program must have completed a four-year degree or its equivalent for admission and have at least six years of professional work experience (with five years in a management-level position).
Applicants must complete an official EMBA application and pay a nonrefundable application fee of $100 and may request to waive the GMAT requirement by demonstrated prior academic, technical, or professional experience. The other application requirements for the EMBA program include a resume, official transcripts, a post-submission interview, and three professional references.

Georgia State University Flex MBA Program Structure
The Georgia State University MBA program at the Robinson College of Business can be completed on a full- or part-time basis within four to six semesters, depending on course load. Students can choose a STEM-designated major in business analysis or a major in business administration. The program is customizable based on students’ industry and goals. Students can pursue an interdisciplinary career pathway that will ground them in business and equip them with up-to-the-minute tech skills. They also can opt for a concentration in 18 sectors like finance, health administration, marketing, or risk, to name a few. All students complete an immersive project in close collaboration with a corporate partner, such as Blackstone, Equifax, Mercedes-Benz USA, or Norfolk Southern.
Curriculum
The curriculum comprises four cornerstone core courses (Managing in the Global Economy, Financial Statement Analysis, Legal Environment: Ethics and Corporate Governance, and Data Driven Decision Making), five functional core courses (Digital Innovation, Corporate Finance, Marketing Management, Operations Management, and Leadership and Organizational Behavior), a capstone course in global competitive strategy, and four classes based on concentration/major.

Rutgers Hosts Grad. Admissions Info Session
The Rutgers Business School- Newark, New Brunswick will be hosting a Graduate Admission Information Session at its Newark campus. The information session will be held Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. Prospective students will have the opportunity to meet with a member of the RBS admissions staff and have any questions about the programs offered and the admissions process.
Rutgers offers a traditional MBA as well as a flex MBA program. The traditional MBA program at RBS is a 60 credit two-year program. Students complete core and foundational courses to establish the fundamental knowledge in business management needed to be a successful leader. Students can choose a concentration to customize their MBA learning experience. Concentration options include, analytics and information management, entrepreneurship, global business, marketing research insights and supply chain management. Students can also apply for a customize MBA concentration. Customized concentrations are awarded on a case-by-case basis.
Simmons Holds MBA Showcase
The next MBA Showcase for the Simmons School of Management will be held Feb. 23. The showcases scheduled for the end of Jan. were cancelled due to inclement weather. The MBA showcase will be held at the Simmons School of Management campus from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. During the event, prospective students will be able to learn more about the MBA programs offered at Simmons as well as all necessary information to start the program in 2015.
Attendants will have the opportunity to hear about the opportunity for women at Simmons as well as the expert faculty at the school. Prospective students will also be able to find out more information on the flexible scheduling option of the MBA program as well as career placement opportunities for Simmons graduates. Information on the application process and financing options will also be available.

LMU Holds MBA & EMBA Information Session
Loyola Marymount University College of Business Administration will be hosting an information session for its MBA and Executive MBA programs. The event will be held Jan. 28 at the Los Angeles Athletic Club in downtown LA. The information session will begin at 7 p.m. Free parking is available for attendants.
During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about both of the MBA programs offered at LMU. Apps Open for Lucas Fall 2015 MBA Programs
Applications for the Fall 2015 graduate programs at the Lucas Graduate School of Business are now open. The deadline for the MBA for Professionals and the Early Career MBA programs is May 1, 2015. All documents required for application are due by May 20, 2015. Applications for both programs must be completed online.
In order to complete the application process at Lucas, prospective students must first register online for an account. After completing the online application, prospective students must provide the admissions office with several supporting documents. The documents include, GMAT/GRE scores, a professional resume and a statement of purpose. MBA students also have the option to provide two letters of recommendation from faculty members or former or current employers.
BC Hosts FT MBA Class Visit
The Office of Graduate Management Admissions at Boston College Carroll School of Management will be hosting a class visit for its Full-Time MBA program. The class visit will be held Jan. 27 from 1:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Boston College campus. During this class visit, attendants will visit a Marketing Research class. Prospective students will be able to experience what it means to be a student in the MBA program at BC first hand and meet with current students and get more information on the Full-Time MBA program.
The Full-Time MBA program at BC is a two-year program that combines sequenced courses with experiential learning. Students collaborate with their peers to develop business plans and consulting services as well as form a solid base of networking for their professional careers. During the first semester of the program, students work in team to learn the methods of design thinking and how to apply that thinking to real-world corporate citizenship programs. Each student team works with a corporation to design a social or environmental program that the company is interested in pursuing.

Apps Open for HBS HBX CORe Program
Harvard Business School has opened applications for the spring and summer 2015 cohort of its online HBX CORe program. The new HBX CORe program is a cutting-edge online learning initiative that provides a primer on the fundamentals of business with a suite of three integrated courses.
The courses for the program include, Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting. The program is taught by a team of Harvard Business School faculty members and is designed specifically for rising college sophomores, juniors and seniors; current and prospective graduates; and those in the first ten years of their careers.
Applications for the program must be received by Feb. 4 for the cohort that begins on Feb. 25. Applications are now also open as well for cohorts beginning on April 15 and June 3.

Stanford University Graduate School of Business will be holding an Executive Education Program Preview webinar. The event will be held Jan. 21 from 10 to 11 a.m. The event is free to attend and is open to Stanford alumni, faculty, staff, current Stanford students and the general public.
