Haas Exec Ed Program Now Accepting Registrations
The Haas School of Business Center for Executive Education is now accepting registrations for the Product Management course. The course will be held Feb. 9 to Feb. 13. This is a five-day course designed to help executives to become productive project managers.
The program is designed for product managers, directors and vice presidents of product management, strategic planners, vice presidents of companies and other executive managers who are involved with product portfolios and corporate strategy. Day one of program focuses on strategy, innovation and the students business models, day two focuses on product planning, day three of the program focuses on pricing strategy and market research, day four will focus on managing with out authority and achieving great results and day five will be geared towards customer focused design and implementing business models.
Simmons Holds MBA Showcase
The Simmons School of Management will be holding a MBA Showcase for prospective students. The event will be held Jan. 28. The showcase will be held on the Simmons campus at The Freeway. Admissions officers will be available to give attendants details about the application process and how students can finance their education.
During the MBA Showcase, prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about all parts of the MBA experience at Simmons School of Management. Prospective students will be able to learn about the opportunities for women at Simmons and the new innovative curriculum that ensures real-world learning experience. Prospective students will also learn more about the flexible fu-time and part-time options and opportunities for career placement.

Columbia Early Admission Deadline Jan. 12
The early admission deadline for the Saturday Executive MBA program at Columbia Business School is Jan. 12. This early deadline is for the May 2015 entry for the EMBA program. The early decision option for admission is ideal for prospective students who have decided that Columbia Business School is the school that they would like to attend.
Applications submitted by the early decision deadline are reviewed before the regular decision applications. Candidates who apply for early decision and are offered admission to the program have up to two weeks to submit their nonrefundable $6,000 deposit for tuition.
First Woman To Receive Prestigious Agriculture Scholarship Is A Cranfield MBA Student
The first ever female recipient of a national farming scholarship is nearly halfway through her MBA at Cranfield School of Management.
Sarah Wells, a business support manager at Countrywide Farmers, started studying at Cranfield in January 2014 thanks to the MBA Agrifarm Charitable Foundation.
Says Sarah: “The Cranfield MBA provides an excellent grounding in all the essential subjects, from marketing and business strategies to finance and logistics. I’ve always known that I wanted a career in agriculture and I’m keen to demonstrate that, in agriculture, women do just as well as men. It’s really interesting that other students on the course are surprised by just how sophisticated and well developed agriculture needs to be, and has become.”
The MBA Agrifarm Charitable Foundation was established on his retirement by John Beckett, the outgoing chairman of Genus, a business selling products to cattle and pig farmers.
The scholarship is granted each year to the candidate who can demonstrate not only that they will benefit from studying at Cranfield, but also that the leadership qualities that will enable management change in the UK agricultural industry.
Sarah works for Countrywide Farmers, the leading UK business in the supply of products and advice to the rural community. They employ more than 1000 staff and specialise in agriculture, energy and retail trading.
NIU College of Business Set to Offer SAP Workshop This Summer
The NIU College of Business SAP University Alliance Program will offer an SAP certification workshop starting summer 2015. The SAP Certification workshop, titled “TERP10, Business Process Integration with SAP ERP (SAP ERP 6.0 EhP 6),” will provide training with the intention of preparing the program’s participants to become a SAP Certified Business Associate. CSULB Holds Information Session
The College of Business Administration at California State University, Long Beach will be holding an upcoming information session. This information session is for its MBA programs. The event will be held Jan. 8 at 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at the College of business Administration building at the CSU, Long Beach campus.
The information sessions offered at CSULB are short presentations on the programs offered at the College of Business Administration. There will also be a question and answer portion of the session at the end for prospective students to ask about the admission process, aspects of the program, financial aid options and more.
Cambridge MBAs Expand Their Horizons in Developing Regions
Students from many countries study for an MBA abroad in order to diversify their careers after working for a number of years in their home countries. Two students from China chose a different path, however, by working in more challenging markets – Kenya and Iran – before pursuing MBA studies at Cambridge Judge Business School.

Lubin Holds EMBA Open House Events
The Lubin School of Business at Pace University will be holding two open house events for its Executive MBA program. The open house events will be held Jan. 10 and Jan. 11, 2015. Both of the events will be held at the Downtown Conference Center at Pace University.
During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to sit in on a real EMBA class and talk with current students and faculty. During the class, students will participate in classroom activities and team project meetings. Prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about the application process, options for financing an EMBA degree at the Lubin school and the best way to balance student and professional lives.
Ageno Hosts Express Admissions Event
The next Express Admissions event at the Edward S. Ageno School of Business will be held Jan. 28, 2015 at 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held at the Golden Gate University campus. There is no cost to those who wish to attend.

Hofstra Holds Grad Studies Open House
Hofstra University will be holding a Graduate Studies Open House. This event will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015. During the event, students can learn more about the MBA program options offered at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business.
Attendants will have an opportunity to speak with financial aid representatives, learn about services offered by The Career Center, and tour the Hofstra University campus. BC App Deadline Jan. 15
The second round of application deadlines for the full-time MBA program at Boston College Carroll School of Management is Jan. 15, 2015. Those who apply by this deadline will receive an admissions decision by March 15, 2015. The program will begin in the Fall of 2015.
The full-time MBA program is a two-year program that combines carefully sequenced courses with a variety of experiential learning components.
