Hofstra Holds Grad Studies Open House

Hofstra University will be holding a Graduate Studies Open House. This event will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015. During the event, students can learn more about the MBA program options offered at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business.

Attendants will have an opportunity to speak with financial aid representatives, learn about services offered by The Career Center, and tour the Hofstra University campus. Attendants will also have the opportunity to speak with the dean of Graduate Admissions to learn more about the admissions process and the services offered for students.

The Zarb School offers a day time MBA, evening MBA, online MBA, MBA in Manhattan and Executive MBA program options. The MBA programs are 41 to 48 credit programs. The programs are offered in full-time, part-time and accelerated structures. Students in the programs also have the option of completing one of thirteen concentrations along with the MBA degree.

The daytime MBA program is a full-time two-year program that follows a cohort structure. Each program begins in September and starts with completing core courses in a lock step format. Students complete concentrations through electives during their second year.

The evening MBA program can be completed as a full-time or part-time student. Zarb evening MBA students complete the same curriculum as the daytime MBA program. Students in the evening program can complete the program in as little as two years, or expand their learning experience to complete the program on a part-time basis.

The MBA in Manhattan is an accelerated program that can be completed in 28 months. This is a 41 to 48-credit cohort structured program in strategic business management or strategic healthcare management. The online MBA program is a 48-credit program that is divided into three areas, core competencies, advanced core and major concentration.

The Executive M.B.A. program is designed for managers and professionals with at least seven years of managerial experience. This is a 20 month schedule of the Executive M.B.A. program consists of seven consecutive semesters. Classes meet Saturdays and follow a cohort structure.
