University of Washington Foster Master of Business Analytics Program Structure
The University of Washington Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program at Foster School of Business takes just 12 months to complete. Students take a full-time credit load in the evenings and on occasional weekends. Courses take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and approximately every other Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The accelerated degree program has one intake each year; with the program beginning in summer quarter.
The Master of Science in Business Analytics curriculum blends technical skills, such as R and SQL, analytic frameworks for interpreting data, and business acumen for translating insights into actions. From marketing, operations and strategy to programming, modelling, and machine learning, this is an integrated, comprehensive curriculum for data-driven decision making.
In just 12 months, students will take 45 credits, learn from experts in the field, and gain real-world experience in business analytics. During the final quarter, students gain hands-on practical experience through an industry project.
