Georgia Tech Evening MBA Program Structure

The Georgia Tech Evening MBA at the Scheller College of Business is a part-time program designed to work around students’ busy schedules and is usually completed in two to three years, with a maximum completion time of six years. The program requires 54 course hours. Like the full-time MBA, a mix of core courses and electives cover topics from a variety of departments relevant to modern-day business practice.

Curriculum

Like the framework for the full-time MBA program, the Georgia Tech Evening MBA coursework consists of 54 credit hours comprised of 12 core courses (21 credit hours) 11 electives (33 hours). Classes are flexible, meeting Monday through Thursday night once per week in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. While most finish in two or three years, students have six years to complete the part-time coursework.

Georgia Tech Evening MBA students have an average of nearly six years professional work experience. The average GMAT and GPA earned by Evening MBA students are 530-680 (80th percentile) and 3.23, respectively.

Careers

Scheller is home to the Jones MBA Career Center, which is designed to help all MBA students with job search preparation. Center staff members help identify opportunities for both internships and employment through one-on-one advisement, an eight-week career development workshop, self-assessment tools, interview preparation, and a series of conferences and career fairs.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Evening MBA students can expect to pay a total of about $1,121 per credit hour for Georgia residents or $1,524 per credit hour for out-of-state residents. This does not include mandatory fees of about $1,005 per semester (except for those with less than four credit hours, who pay $364). At 54 credits, the total program cost will be around $65,000 for Georgia residents and around $82,300 for non-residents, not including fees.
