Rutgers Offers SCM Meet and Greet
The Department of Supply Chain Management and Marketing Services and Career Services at Rutgers Business School Newark and New Brunswick will be cosponsoring the Fall 2014 Rutgers Supply Chain Management Meet and Greet on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the Livingston Campus: Recreation Center.
The event is for students and alumni who are looking for internships or jobs with the companies attending. Companies can use the meet and greet to find students and alumni who can help fill open positions or internships in the supply chain management field.
The event will feature Caterpillar, DuPont, Pepsi, J&J as well as more than 70 other major corporations. The event will provide access to students and alumni who are proficient in SCM, capable of grasping vital issues, ready to improve supply chain process and be able to cope with the possibility of supply chain challenges of the future.
The event is open to Supply Chain single and dual majors. Freshmen are also welcome to attend. Students and corporations must register to attend. Registration can be completed online. Hotel accommodations can be reserved at The Hyatt Regency, New Brunswick or the Heldrich Hotel, New Brunswick.
In order to prepare for the event, students are encouraged to create an elevator speech, bring at least 50 copies of your resume, and do research on the corporations that interest you.
