Betty Manetta to Speak at Stillman Convocation

Betty Manetta, President and CEO of Argent Associates Inc., will serve as the keynote speaker for the Stillman School of Business’s annual Integrity and Professionalism Convocation. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2014. The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Jubilee Hall Auditorium at the Seton Hall University main campus.

This event is co-sponsored by Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute as well as the Financial Women’s Association. This event is a part of Beta Gamma Sigma’s Meet the Business Leaders series. There will be a reception immediately following the convocation ceremony.

Betty Manetta founded Argent Associates Inc. in 1998. Argent Associates is a certified minority and female-owned company that provides innovative technology, products, services and supply chain solutions to enterprise and government customers. Her mission and proven commitment is to collaborating with clients to achieve the most creative innovative and resourceful solutions. Manetta is an active participant with the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Women’s President Organization. She is a member of LAMA and the New Jersey Technology and Manufacturing Council of Middlesex County, NJ.

She is the latest in a long line of prominent speakers for the Stillman School’s Integrity and Professionalism Convocations. They include Denise Morrison, John Nash, Nobel Laureate winner; Carla Harris, Managing Director at Morgan Stanley; Tim Gunn, chief creative officer at Liz Claiborne, Inc. and mentor on Bravo TV’s Project Runway: Christopher Christie, J.D. ’87, United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey; Cory A Booker, mayor of Newark; Mary Higgins Clark, author and entrepreneur.
