Lubin Holds Accelerated Military Admissions Event

The Lubin School of Business will be holding a special admissions event for military personnel. The “Military Monday” event will be an accelerated admissions event for any veteran, reservist, and active duty military that plan to apply to the Business School. The event will held on Monday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Prospective students who apply during this event will have the $70 graduate application fee waived.

For this event, applicants must schedule an appointment with an admissions officer. Appointment times are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. The event will be held at both the Manhattan campus and the Westchester campus. Prospective students should note that most of the Lubin MBA program courses are held at the lower Manhattan campus. Before your appointment, prospective students should download and complete a paper application that can be found online.

For the appointment, applicants should bring their completed admissions application, all postsecondary transcripts, two letters of recommendation, a personal state of 250-500 words on a topic of their choice, a copy of their current resume and GMAT scores. Military students seeking admission for any of Lubin’s MBA programs, including the Executive MBA program are welcome to attend the event. There is no charge for the event.

Lubin offers a part-time and full-time MBA program in addition to their EMBA program. The MBA program at Lubin was designed to be extremely flexible. Students can take classes during the day, evening or on the weekends. Students have the opportunity to personally schedule their classes to include all three course times, only evenings or only weekend courses. The Professional MBA curriculum at Lubin consists of a total of 39-58 credits. The MBA in Accounting is the only exception, requiring between 53-72 credits.

Students also have the opportunity to complete up to two concentrations in, Financial Management, Information Systems, Accounting, Management, Marketing Management, Taxation and International Business.
