Newsweek Includes Quinlan School of Business in Best AACSB Accredited B-School Feature

newspaper

For more than 100 years, AACSB International has been the top accrediting organization of business schools in the world. AACSB-accredited schools are recognized for the performance, quality, rigor, and continuous improvement of their programs and students.

Accreditation isn’t simply handed out: According to Newsweek, less than 5 percent of schools offering business degrees worldwide have earned AACSB Accreditation. As of May 2016, AACSB has given business accreditation to 762 schools across 52 countries.

In a recent Newsweek article, the publication broke down the best of the best AACSB accredited business schools. Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business was among the schools featured. Here’s a few highlights from Newsweek’s profile of “The Quinlan Experience”:

The profile made note of Quinlan’s highly accessible faculty:

“Our faculty is committed to your success and readily available to students. They are experts in their fields, recognized researchers, and passionate teachers.”

It also mentioned the school’s strong alumni network,

“You will join a strong, diverse network of more than 30,000 business alumni in Chicago and worldwide—who are all committed to making a difference through responsible business leadership.”

Quinlan’s Jesuit network is also seen as a plus to many who apply,

“Attending to Loyola gives you access to a global Jesuit network. Including Loyola, there are 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States and many more internationally. Students in our MBA program have unparalleled flexibility to transfer credits to another participating Jesuit school if they need to relocate for personal or professional reasons during their graduate program.”

Newsweek also wasted no time in mentioning how Quinlan’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is ranked as the #3 part-time MBA in Chicago and in the top 50 nationwide by US News & World Report, 2017.
