Chicago 1-Year MBA Programs

Here is a guide to good business schools in Chicago that offer 1-year MBA Programs.  Please note that if the duration is slightly longer, this information is provided below the school name. Click on a program profile below to see if you meet the eligibility requirements for that program.

Kellogg School of Management – Northwestern University

The One-Year Program is the fastest path to a Kellogg MBA. If you’ve completed a business-related degree, you may bypass core classes and immediately dive into advanced studies that are customized to your career goals.

Liautaud Graduate School of Business – University of Illinois at Chicago

The Accelerated MBA program is a one-year, full-time degree program designed to provide students with all of the requirements for an MBA, including in-depth learning in a focused area of business study. Students are able to complete the degree in a shortened time frame, three semesters, by carrying a heavy course load each semester and by shortening breaks between semesters.

Northern Illinois University College of Business 

The One-Year MBA program is designed for the working professional with a minimum of three years experience and a business undergraduate degree. Classes are offered at NIU Hoffman Estates. Attending class just two evenings per week, students earn their MBA in 12 months.

The Fast-Trak MBA program is a day-time, 12-month program in Barsema Hall on the DeKalb campus with required international experiences in Bordeaux, France or Murcia, Spain. Students attend classes Monday through Friday, during both the spring and fall semesters.

Mendoza College of Business

The Mendoza One-year MBA is a full-time program held on Notre Dame’s South Bend Campus. The one-year MBA begins and ends in May and requires 46 credit hours to complete. The program initiates with a 10-week summer session. After the summer session students then join classes with other MBA students in the fall and spring.
