Pennsylvania MBA Programs That Don’t Require the GMAT or GRE

Please note that many of these programs are executive MBA programs, which typically cater to applicants with many years of professional experience. Click on a program profile below to see if you meet the eligibility requirements for that program.

The University of Scranton Arthur J. Kania School of Management does not require applicants to the MBA of MBA-MHA program to submit GMAT/GRE scores.
GMAT waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis for LeBow’s Executive MBA program.
Some students with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better may be admitted into the first semester of the Full-Time MBA, the Part-Time MBA, the One-Year MBA and the Saturday MBA programs without taking the GMAT.
Applicants to Lehigh’s Full-Time and Part-Time MBA programs may apply for a waiver of the GMAT/GRE requirement if they have at least 10 years of full-time professional experience.
The Haub School of Business has numerous programs that don’t list GMAT or GRE scores as admissions requirements. These include the One-Year Executive MBA, the 20-Month Executive MBA, the Executive Food-Marketing MBA, and finally the Executive Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Marketing MBA.
GMAT and GRE waivers are available for Fox’s Executive MBA Program
The University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business offers a Professional MBA hybrid option with GMAT/GRE waivers for select students, and several EMBA programs that do not require any GMAT/GRE test scores in order to enroll.
GMAT waivers may be admitted to select applicants to any of the Rowan University Rohrer College of Business MBA offerings.
GMAT waivers are available for the Rutgers School of Business, Camden's Traditional, Online, and Professional MBA programs.
Applicants to the Penn State University Smeal College of Business Executive MBA program may not be required to submit official GMAT scores. In addition, applicants to the school's Online MBA program may be eligible for a GMAT waiver.
The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), School of Business Hybrid MBA applicants who graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above and demonstrated quantitative competencies or have completed an advanced degree may be exempt from taking the required GMAT or GRE. Additionally, the GMAT or GRE exam may be waived for candidates with eight or more years of professional full-time work experience along with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Waivers will be considered case-by-case as the MBA Director grants or denies waivers based on their assessment of the applicant’s probability of success. Waiver requests should be sent to the MBA Director at mba@tcnj.edu.
Villanova’s Executive MBA doesn’t require either the GRE or GMAT exams for admission.
GMAT test scores for the MBA program at West Chester University are required unless a waiver is granted by the Graduate Director.
