Kennesaw State WebMBA Program Structure

The Kennesaw State University WebMBA program begins with two days of on-site orientation. The remaining curriculum is taught exclusively online using virtual, team-based learning. The 20-month, cohort-style program is conducted over five consecutive terms in which students take two courses each semester. Upon completion, students receive a degree identical to students in the evening and executive MBA programs.


The Kennesaw State University WebMBA program is the epitome of a comprehensive, streamlined MBA Program, and all courses are taught on-line. The curriculum covers:

• Strategic Marketing
• Entrepreneurship
• Operations
• Business Strategy

Students must complete four foundation requirements, the mandatory two-day orientation residency, and 10 required courses that constitute 30 credits total. Students with an undergraduate business degree may be exempt from the foundation requirements due to their successful completion of foundation requirements during their undergraduate studies. Students with undergraduate degrees other than business may be exempted from one or more foundation requirements depending on the undergraduate course of study.

Class Profile

The total enrollment for the Kennesaw State WebMBA program as of spring 2019 was 147 students. The average age in the WebMBA program is 34. Students entering in the spring 2019 semester had an average GPA of 3.3 and average GMAT score of 531.

Students self-identifying as belonging to one or more racial minority groups represent 38 percent of the WebMBA population. About 43 percent of WebMBA students identify as female while 57 percent identify as male.

Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid

Tuition and fees for the Kennesaw State University WebMBA is set at $24,370 for the duration of the program for both in-state and out-of-state students.

Coles students have access to the Office of Student Financial Aid. This office coaches students through the application process and provides detailed information to help answer questions.


To apply to the Kennesaw State University WebMBA program, applicants must submit:

• An online application form
• A copy of their professional résumé
• Official copies of any transcripts from previous colleges
• Two letters of recommendation
• Official GMAT test scores
• A non-refundable $60 application fee

Potential applicants do not have to submit GMAT scores if they have:

• Previously earned an advanced degree;
• Five years of full-time professional work experience
• Three years of full-time professional work experience with a GPA of at least 3.25
• Undergraduate GPA of 3.5 in business from KSU, an AACSB accredited institution or has an engineering degree

Applicants must have at least two years of professional experience to be eligible for the WebMBA program. An evaluative interview is not required but may be requested by the MBA Admissions Committee.
