Lehigh University’s 1-MBA Program Structure

The Lehigh University 1- MBA program is a one-year, full-time cohort program designed for professionals ready to take their career to the next level. This on-campus program features a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes functional areas of business as well as more theoretical understanding of the modern business world.

This unique program allows you to leverage the experience and acumen of your own three-person coaching team with a hands-on Consulting Practicum that will take your potential and make it reality.

Most classes are offered during daytime hours, though some electives are offered in evenings. Required corporate visits may span day and evening.

The Lehigh University 1-MBA is a 50 credit program. Students will begin with a variety of courses that will prepare them for the business fundamental sessions, followed by courses taught from the stakeholder perspective. Societal shift courses are interwoven throughout the program. The program ends with a capstone course integrating all of the knowledge and experience gained in the past year.

The 1-MBA program is on an academic cycle of July through May.

Lehigh University’s College of Business and Economics has a dedicated Director of Career Services for Graduate Programs. Flex MBA students have full access to the following Career Services resources as a collaboration between the Center for Career and Professional Development and the Graduate Programs Office: career coaching and advising, career education, digital tools, and events and resources to connect with alumni and employers.

Tuition & Financial Aid

The 1-MBA tuition cost is $64,750, which is payable in four semester payments. International students must submit a copy of a financial guarantee demonstrating the ability to pay $81,025, which includes health insurance and living expenses in addition to tuition.

Applicants for scholarships must receive an offer of admission to the 1-MBA program in order to be considered for an award. Awards are determined upon a combination of merit and need. The Committee on Financial Aid will consider an applicant’s work experience, undergraduate record, and test scores to determine scholarship awards.
If you are being sponsored by your current place of employment (gap year), then a letter from the employer outlining the employer’s tuition reimbursement policy/stipulations for your attendance must be submitted to the Graduate Programs Office.

Students accepted to the program may apply for a Dean’s Scholarship, which includes full tuition plus a $10,000 stipend. Director’s Scholarships are merit-based, partial-tuition scholarships and range from $5,000 to full tuition. Students may also apply for the Asa Packer Social Entrepreneurship Award, whose honorees will receive full tuition and an $18,000 stipend; and the Alumni Scholarship, open to graduates of any one of the University’s four degree programs. The Alumni Scholarship awards $10,000 to the successful applicant.

Lehigh University also participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which offers tuition benefits to veterans.
