Business Intelligence and Insights Manager — Adobe

Best known for iconic programs like Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, and Flash as well as developing the iconic Portable Document Format, Adobe is unquestionably a leader in the technology industry.

As the world grows increasingly digital, so does Adobe’s influence. Adobe is hiring a Business Intelligence and Insights Manager for its Seoul office. The person hired to his position will work in the Korean digital media business unit, working to convert users into paid customers.

These efforts are driven by data analytics, and the new hire will work to develop reports and analyses to drive the company’s work. Candidates should have at least some previous relevant experience, and an MBA is preferred. Top candidates will also have some experience managing people and technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic insights for various programs in Korea
  • Working with business teams to provide in-depth analysis around key areas

Business Development Manager, AWS Managed Services — Amazon

For better or worse, Amazon’s presence in the world only grows daily. You are likely familiar with the story by now: once a humble online bookstore, Amazon is now one of the major retailers around the world, offering a cornucopia of products. In addition to its retail front, the company is also a leader in cloud computing.

Amazon is hiring a Business Development Manager to work out of its Seoul office. The person hired will work for Amazon’s cloud computing service, Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this position, the person will help manage the business strategies for a new service within the company, AWS Managed Services, which will help more companies move toward cloud computing.

Candidates should have at least five years of prior relevant experience, and an MBA is preferred. Top candidates should have strong knowledge of both cloud computing and the technological business landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining sales and business campaigns around the AMS offering
  • Meeting with customers to address their issues
  • Engaging teams across AWS to deliver AMS to enterprise customers and partners

Consultant — Boston Consulting Group

Boston Consulting Group is a global management consulting firm and the world’s leading advisor on business strategy. The company works with clients to identify their highest-value opportunities, address their most critical challenges, and transform their enterprises. Founded in 1963, the company has more than 90 offices in 50 countries.

Boston Consulting Group is hiring Consultants to work out of its Seoul office. The person hired for this position will work in the company’s Technology Advantage area, which focuses on helping clients deliver competitive advantage and superior performance in the IT space through the use of data.

Candidates should have considerable experience working with IT, and prior management consulting experience is preferred. Preferred candidates will have an MBA in hand.

Account Executive — Microsoft

There is a high possibility that you have used a Microsoft, program whether it is the company’s OS or one of its many Office Suite offerings. Founded by Paul Allen and Bill Gates, Microsoft is ubiquitous in the technology world, with a presence in many living rooms and offices across the globe.

Microsoft seeks an Account Executive to work in the company’s Seoul office. The person hired for this position will maintain and develop relationships with clients. The ideal candidate can merge business vision with engineering roadmaps to create innovative opportunities for clients. Candidates for this position should have at least five years of previous relevant experience, and an MBA is preferred for this position.
