ASU Carey Professional Flex MBA Program Structure

Students in the AACSB-accredited Professional Flex MBA at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University can complete the program on their own schedule, in less than two years or as long as four years. Classes are offered both in-person and online, two nights per week from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Students who opt to take more in-person classes on the Tempe campus can complete the program in 21 months. Classes are generally small and never exceed 50 students.

Students in the program can choose from over 40 different electives Those that complete the program in a shorter time-frame can also add technical certificates and concurrent degrees.

Curriculum

Students in the Professional Flex MBA program center their studies around four primary areas of focus: finance; international business; marketing; and supply chain management. Those focusing on international business often take courses outside of the United States, with previous experiences located in countries like Australia and Germany. Those interested in the intersection of business and public policy may also take a one-week residency in Washington DC.

The most recent ASU Carey Professional Flex class featured 177 students. Students were, on average, 31-years old and joined with an average GMAT of 609, a GPA of 3.31, and 6.6 years of previous work experience.

About 36 percent of the class is female, with 64 percent male students. Approximately 13 percent of the class is international.

Tuition, Scholarships, and Financial Aid

Annual tuition cost for the ASU Carey Professional Flex MBA is currently $56,800 for all applicants, regardless of state or country residency. A nonrefundable $500 fee is required in order to reserve a spot in the program.

Applicants can help fund their education through federal and private loans, although the type of loan offered may vary by student.
