Tepper School of Business Full-Time MBA Program Structure

The full-time MBA program is two years of study at the main Carnegie Mellon campus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Students typically complete a summer internship between year one and year two of the program.

Curriculum

With an unparalleled focus on leadership development and analytics, the Tepper School MBA curriculum provides an integrated view of business and skill development that will prepare you to manage, lead, and solve complex business problems.

The dual focus on strategic analytics and leadership development provides a powerful foundation for applying coursework that emphasizes core management fundamentals. The curriculum emphasizes mastery of management fundamentals in year one, prior to the selection of electives that provide breadth and depth in key industry and functional areas.

There are currently 231 students enrolled in the full-time MBA Class of 2023  at the Tepper School of Business. About 21 percent of the class are female students, with 44 percent U.S. minority students, and 34 percent international students.

The average GMAT score of the current class is 691 and the undergraduate GPA is 3.35. Students in the program enroll with an average of 5.4 years of work experience.
