Carnegie Mellon Part-Time Accelerated MBA Program Structure

The Carnegie Mellon Tepper Part-Time Accelerated MBA is for business graduates or individuals with undergraduate business coursework experience who want to earn an MBA through a part-time online format in a two-year time frame.

The Part-Time Accelerated MBA may be for you if:

● You have 3-7 years of work experience.
● In the last 7 years, you earned an undergraduate business degree or have taken accounting, finance, marketing, microeconomics, and operations courses as an undergrad student.
● You want the flexibility of an online degree program at a top MBA program.

In the Tepper Part-Time Accelerated MBA program, you’ll get challenging and rewarding coursework taught by the professors who lead the Full-Time program. You’ll pursue an analytics-focused curriculum in a part-time online hybrid format, but in less time than the Tepper Part-Time Online Hybrid program.

Because students in the Part-Time Accelerated MBA program have earned an undergraduate business degree or have taken core business courses in the last seven years, they receive credit for their acquired business knowledge and take refresher coursework in their first semester.

Weekly online classes are augmented by in-person Access Weekends held several times a year, letting you connect in person with classmates and professors.

With an unparalleled focus on leadership development and analytics, the Tepper School MBA curriculum provides an integrated view of business and skill development that will prepare you to manage, lead, and solve complex business problems

Our dual focus on strategic analytics and leadership development provides a powerful foundation for applying coursework that emphasizes core management fundamentals. The curriculum emphasizes mastery of management fundamentals in year one, prior to the selection of electives that provide breadth and depth in key industry and functional areas

Class Profile

This is a new program that will enroll its first class in Fall 2022.

Admissions

The following must be included in the Carnegie Mellon Part-Time Accelerated MBA application:

• An online application form
• Current resume
• One required essay
• One professional recommendation
• Unofficial transcripts of all academic work
• Official GMAT score (preferred) or GRE (accepted)
• Official TOEFL or IELTS score (if applicable)
• $200 application fee

Application deadlines are as follows:
Round One – October 2, 2023
Round Two – January 8, 2024
Round Three – March 4, 2024
Round Four – May 6, 2024
Round Five – June 10, 2024
